Your room assignment is based upon your admitting diagnosis and the bed availability on the day of your admission. Private (single bed) and semi-private (two beds) room and private suites are available, while suites may have additional cost per day. Please let us know if you have a special preference. Regardless of room assignment/size, care, treatment and service is provided to all patients equally. *Private suites are available and offer amenities such as decorative tiled showers and bathrooms, oak cabinetry, and larger accommodations. These rooms are $43.00 per day, which requires a two-day deposit. Should additional days be needed, fees are required on a daily basis
Your Hospital Bed
Your hospital bed is adjustable for your comfort. Bedside rails provide for your protection. They may be raised at night or during the day if you are resting, recovering from surgery or taking certain medications. Your care team will help you adjust the rails as needed.
Color television sets are provided in each room.
Telephones are provided in each room, except in the ICU. To call the hospital operator, dial "0." To place local calls outside the hospital, dial "9" plus the number. To call long-distance from a patient room, dial "9" and listen for the dial tone. Then dial "0"+area code+number being called. An outside operator will answer and assist with your call. Special telecommunications devices (TDD) are available for the hearing impaired. These can be obtained from your nurse.
